So.Its taken me a while to get round to starting my first blog. The reason? What the hell to blog about? My interests, although maybe not that different from most 26 year old, blonde, city-dwellers, aren't exactly 'high-brow'. In fact, some would call them downright shallow. The things I care about? Wine, sex, friends, family, love, Japanese food (well just food in general), pyjamas (don't judge), dieting, eating out (go figure)and the E Channel. I'm not going to be blogging about politics or about the arts. I will be more likely blogging about the entire bottle of wine I polished off last night or how much I love the playsuits New Look currently has on offer. This makes me feel vain. And materialistic. And I have to get over these reservations if I am to be a good blogger. So work with me here.
However, what I will also be blogging about are emotions, real life situations, dramas & relationships (my lovelife currently resembles an episode of Jeremy Kyle). So for every diet blog you get, it will no doubt be followed by a blog about something a bit more serious. Every blog regaling Benefit make-up, might be followed up with a blog about bereavement.
Which leads me onto my next problem. Anonymity. Without it will I be as honest and as forthcoming as I want to be? As honest as I should be if I am going to do this right? Obviously I can change names, under-exaggerate and generally manipulate my blogs so as not to offend. But what happens if I DO offend? What happens if I talk about a friends current drama or cheating boyfriend and they call me up on it? What if the (current at the time) love of my life reads something I have written and gets upset? Or what if (God help me), my newly Facebook addicted father, accidently stumbles across my blog and discovers what I am currently experimenting with in the bedroom???
See......these things worry me......
BUT. I have decided to go for it. And hopefully I can do this diplomatically. And I still have all my friends at the end of it. Wish me luck.......

Hurry up.. looking forward to the bedroom experimentation and relationship stuff... :)
P.S. Seriously it is a great way to get stuff out that troubles you.. writing = healing... it does help...
Welcome to blogging :) You will find it addictive.
Best way to start if you don't already is to find blogs to read (and comment on).
Most people have a reading list on their blogs (mine is called love - check it out)
Blogging is a little community which you are now part of :)
Yay - welcome! :)
It sounds like you'll be writing about EXACTLY what I want to be reading about . . . so you already have an audience, haha! :)
