The Hope, Glasgow

Nope. Your eyes do not deceive you. I went to an event last Thursday night and I am writing it up already. That was only 2 days ago. Maybe the laziest blogger in Glasgow is finally getting her finger out.

Maybe not.

The reason I look a little worse for wear in the above photo is because of all the prosecco. And there was lots at the launch night for The Hope on Glasgow's Waterloo Street. The newest venture for Maclay Inns has been given a revamp and is looking pretty swish with an exciting menu to match. We were treated to a delicious selection of beers and wines and an array of tasters from the new menu including sliders, chicken teriyaki skewers and antipasti platters.

It was a fun night with an interesting mix of press, bloggers and Glasgow peeps and the folks behind this new bar took some excellent care of us. As you can tell from my glazed expression.

The next day? The head? Don't even ask.

This is a cool pub located right next to Central station and definitely my new go-to bar for when I miss my train (that happens a lot).

A couple of pics below courtesy of Laura. Because I was too busy scoffing mini prawn cocktails to take any.

What?
I've got the blog post up already....
You can't have everything.
