I love reading blogs.
Whether I am waiting in the dentist's surgery, laying in a bubble bath or simply going to bed early with the iPad, blog reading is one of my favourite ways to pass the time. And my blog reader is currently filled with the perfect mix of cooking, beauty, lifestyle and health. I find following blogs like being able to create your own magazine, a pick and mix of content tailored perfectly to your own specifications.
And it saves me a fortune in glossy mags!
Here are some of my favourite blogs to follow. These are the blogs that I get a little excited about when I see a new post pop up in my feed.
THE LIFESTYLE BLOGGER
Cider with Rosie |
This is probably my favourite lifestyle blog. It's a perfect mix of recipes and amazing photos with just enough fashion and beauty thrown in. Rosie's blog also features lots of London, lots of cake and lots of coffee. What's not to love? She also likes staying in as much as I do...
THE MOTHERHOOD BLOGGER
Sometimes being a single mother is scary. And when you're not feeling all that Beyonce/Independent Woman way inclined then it's nice to know there are other mums out there experiencing the same struggles, thoughts and feelings that you are. Not that Alice makes motherhood out to be a tough ride. Quite the opposite in fact. But I love how honest her blog is. And when I'm feeling knackered or have 'full-time working mum' guilt I love reading her blog and being reminded that we are all in this together.
THE ESCAPISM BLOGGER
SallyTangle Sally's blog is the ultimate escapism. A heady mish mash of Pinterest photos, beautiful skies and pretty flowers. When she talks you dive into a perfect little world almost like a dream sequence. She loves all the things I adore. Cosy PJ's, tasty pre-bedtime snacks, amazing smells and the beautiful outdoors. And don't even get me started on what this girl can do with a bowl of porridge... |
THE FOOD BLOGGER
How Sweet It Is This is an American blog that features some of the best food posts I've come across. Jessica definitely adores food just as much as I do and some of her recipes are seriously cool and creative. And her food photos are out of the world. A definite recommendation for any budding chefs out there. These are my current favourite bloggers. Please tell me yours! |
