L A T E L Y

• Amazing Parma Violet cocktails at the launch of the equally amazing new Scottish Mothers Collective at Hutcheson's in the Merchant City. Lovely night meeting lots of other like-minded mamas and polished off with a last minute dinner in Urban Bar & Brasserie. But we had to do something to soak up all those cocktails, right?
• This lazy chef has been relying waaaaay too much on quick pasta dinners of late. I think my cooking mojo takes a nosedive when the sun rears it's head.
• Finally made it to the west end to try out my first Tantrum Doughnut. Oh my god. I so get what you were all banging on about and I cannot believe I left it so long to try this place. I foresee a box of 6 coming my way every time I venture out west
• Water. Water. Water. I've been trying to increase the old H20 uptake recently and have been jazzing mine up with things like sliced strawberries, lemon wedges and torn mint. Got to balance out those doughnuts, don't you?

• I made these delicious Pea Guacamole & Seared Halloumi Soft Tacos for Meat Free Monday recently and they did not disappoint. From now on if I don't get my guac with smashed peas through it there will be trouble
• I had to nip out of the office one afternoon to take some photos for an event and the sun was splitting the skies. If we got more sun in Scotland then all my photos would look this great. Bad light equals blogging woes
• After work Starbucks are becoming a habit. Especially when I get to sup them in the sun
• Dessert pizza anyone? This tasted much better than skinny has ever felt

• Post work Pimms on the balcony with every kind of sliced fruit you can think of. Is my allegiance to Winter starting to turn?
• Bathroom buddy. Long hot soaks in bubble baths on my own are becoming a thing of the past but truthfully I kinda love that she can't leave my side for a minute
• More balcony antics. This time home made fajitas in the sun
• Is that not the best Tiger face paint you ever saw? Think this mama is gonna have to brush up on her face painting skillz

• Car selfies in the morning. The excuse 'I'm late for work because we were perfecting our car selfie' doesn't really hold much weight though does it?
• Not only did I recently discover just how close in proximity I work to Subway, but that their DIY salads are basically the best thing ever
• The sun has also helped with some impromptu car park photo shoots at work. Sometimes my job is REALLY FUN
• Finally I was lucky enough to be invited to my first ever Twitter tasting session with the guys at Caorunn Gin. Best Thursday night ever.
